Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

This policy explains what information Curated Stacks ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it to be read, not skimmed past — but if anything is unclear, you're welcome to write to us.

Information we collect

Information you provide

If you subscribe to our newsletter, contact us by email, or purchase a digital product or consult, we collect the information you share with us — typically your name, email address, and, for purchases, billing details processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring pages. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies, primarily via our analytics provider, and is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used.

Affiliate links and disclosure

Curated Stacks participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program and programs operated through networks such as Skimlinks, Impact, and CJ Affiliate. Skimlinks may automatically convert some outbound merchant links on our pages into affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link on our site, the retailer or network may place a cookie on your browser to attribute any resulting purchase to us. If you buy something through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

These cookies are set and governed by the retailers and networks themselves, not by us. Their use of your data is described in their own privacy policies. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Affiliate relationships never determine what we recommend. Selections are made editorially first; links are added after.

Cookies

We use cookies for three purposes:

  • Essential cookies that keep the site functioning, including checkout for digital products.
  • Analytics cookies that help us understand which pages and stacks people find useful.
  • Affiliate cookies set by retail partners when you click an outbound product link, as described above.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality, such as checkout.

How we use your information

  • To operate and improve the website and our content
  • To deliver digital products and consult services you've purchased
  • To send our newsletter, if you've subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email
  • To respond when you contact us
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except with the service providers necessary to run the site — such as our hosting, payment, email, and analytics providers — each of which is bound by its own privacy obligations.

Payments

Purchases of digital products and consult services are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. Your payment details are transmitted directly to and stored by these providers under their own privacy policies and security standards. We receive only the information needed to fulfill your order, such as your name, email, and purchase confirmation.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — for example, purchase records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics provider. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your rights

All visitors

You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you're located in these regions, you have additional rights under the GDPR and equivalent laws, including the right to data portability, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent — such as for our newsletter — you may withdraw it at any time.

California residents

Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law.

Children's privacy

Curated Stacks is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our site links extensively to third-party retailers and publications. Once you leave our site, your information is governed by the destination site's own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work with established providers and limit the data we collect to what we actually need.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
